Global Partnership Will Become the Key Subject of the Tenth Anniversary International Forum ATOMEXPO 2018

The Tenth Anniversary International Forum ATOMEXPO 2018 will be held on May 14-16, 2018, at the Main Media Center in Sochi. This year the main theme of the Forum is as follows: “Global Partnership – Joint Success”.
The participants will consider topical issues of multilateral cooperation in all application areas of nuclear technologies, focusing on international partnership in research, training, development of nuclear infrastructure, and environmental safety.
More than 2,000 representatives of companies from France, Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, Finland, China, India, Japan, the Republic of Korea, South Africa, Turkey, Kazakhstan and other countries are expected to take part in ATOMEXPO 2018. Representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the World Nuclear Association (WNA), the Nuclear Energy Agency of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (NEA/OECD), the Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (France) are planning to attend the Forum.
Rosatom State Corporation’s and IAEA’s third joint school of management in the field of nuclear energy use will be held at ATOMEXPO for the first time. Its main goal is to transfer a unique educational experience in the field of nuclear program management to the countries planning to develop the nuclear power industry.
Apart from the business program, ATOMEXPO 2018 will host a wide ranging exposition featuring leading enterprises of the global nuclear power industry and related sectors. The Russian nuclear industry will be represented by more than 50 companies of Rosatom State Corporation, including: Concern Rosenergoatom, TVEL, Atomenergomash, ASE EC, RASU, Uranium Holding ARMZ, Mayak Production Association, Mining and Chemical Combine, TENEX, International Uranium Enrichment Center, Russian Federal Nuclear Center VNIIEF, Russian Federal Nuclear Center VNIITF, Rusatom – International Network, Rusatom Overseas Inc., Rusatom Energy International, Rusatom Healthcare. Leading foreign companies and organizations – the Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (France), GIIN (France), Rolls-Royce (Great Britain), China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC, China), NAC Kazatomprom (Kazakhstan), L-3 MAPPS (Canada), Fennovoima (Finland), VUJE (Slovakia), ENVY (Turkey) – will also present their expositions.

International Forum ATOMEXPO has been held since 2009 on the initiative of Rosatom State Corporation. Heads of leading companies in the world nuclear industry and related sectors, as well as government agencies, representatives of international and public organizations, and leading experts take part in the Forum. Over ten years, ATOMEXPO has become a global event for the exchange of views and best practices in the field of effective use of nuclear energy, a sought-after venue for business meetings, signing cooperation agreements and launching new projects.
From 2009 to 2017, about 38 thousand people from 83 countries took part in the ATOMEXPO International Forum events. 987 companies presented their expositions. 1,116 experts spoke at 141 round table meetings. More than 300 agreements and international cooperation documents were signed during the nine forums.
