ROSATOM-CICE&T and Bureau Veritas Services signed a Memorandum of Understanding

Bureau Veritas Services and ROSATOM-CICE&T signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of personnel training for nuclear power programmes. The event took place within the framework of IX International Forum “ATOMEXPO 2017” on June 20, 2017.
The objective of the signed document is the fostering cooperation between the Parties in the field of research, education and training in nuclear science and technology. ROSATOM-CICE&T and Bureau Veritas agreed on partnership in such areas as an exchange of materials, exchange of lecturers, distance education. The Parties are planning organization of joint trainings, workshops and internships.
«Signature of this Memorandum is a milestone in the development of cooperation aimed at ensuring the conditions for timely and high-quality compliance with obligations of Russian companies for engineering, equipment supply and NPPs construction in the EU countries, in particular, Hanhikivi-1 NPP. According to the requirements of the Finnish customer, it is necessary to have quality management certificates for all participants in the NPP construction process. In this case, there is a need to train Russian contractors on Quality Management System, accepted by the customer. Bureau Veritas conducts commercial training on programmes describing the specifics of European legislation, which can be used as a supplement to the ROSATOM-CICE&T training courses», — said Iurii Seleznev, Rector of ROSATOM-CICE&T at the signing ceremony.
